Pakistani jailed for 15 months for working illegally in HK.
A Pakistani man was jailed by a Shatin Magistrates’ Court after being caught in a raid by Hong Kong police, the Immigration Department and the Labor Department in late July, according to a government statement released on Monday.
The 37-year-old man was sentenced to 15 months, the statement said, after he was found conveying goods in a recycling shop in Sham Shui Po in Kowloon on July 25 during the raid. Read about it here.
