Report: Former Wasserman Schultz IT Staffer Allegedly Uploaded ‘Terabits of Information to Dropbox’

Is it really possible that there is a “server” for each member of congress? Is that the model? Not to defend Hillary, but if that is the model, maybe that’s why she sought to maintain it. Ignoring the cost of 535 servers, it seems like that allows for 535 opportunities to hack our government.

A new report claims that former Debbie Wasserman Schultz IT staffer Imran Awan allegedly uploaded terabits of information from DNC servers to a private Dropbox account.

Circa reports that Imran Awan, the former IT staffer for Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL) and other Congressional Democrats arrested for possible bank fraud and theft of government property, is now being investigated over possibly selling sensitive information to foreign governments. Circa alleges Awan transferred massive amounts of information, including government documents and emails, to his own private Dropbox account, allowing him to access the information even after he was blocked from DNC networks.   • As egregious as this behaviour is, do you really think anything will come of it?
    As much as I would love to see the DC house of cards burned to ashes and prison sentences issued my head tells me that this will never be.
    Curious as to your thoughts.

      I’m with you. I’d like to believe that the rule of law will prevail. But there are too many powerful folks involved, so probably nothing will happen. Unless there is a chance to blame the Russians of course.
