Identity politics is the real racism, misogyny and xenophobia. The very notion that people can be judged on their actions is anathema to the left. I didn’t like Obama because of his actions as President, not because he was black. I don’t like Susan Rice because of her actions, not because she is a woman. The left are the real racists, misogynists and xenophobes.

There was a time in America when we broke up big corporations. We didn’t break them up because they weren’t providing a useful service. We broke them up because we didn’t believe that their size was in the best interests of the American people and its economy. Now we’ve gone in a completely different direction.

Good analysis of the destruction of the media. In a way, we all lose when the media abandon’s its role to inform and hold an out of control government accountable. The internet helps get the word out, but it alss helps build walls, with people gravitating to what they like and believe and not taking the time to learn opposing views. Of course the media will blame the Russians for making this happen.

It’s good news that punishment is being passed out here. The sad thing is that this is taking so long to accomplish. First complaints were in 2012. The biggest problem with our justice system is that it is no longer swift and certain. And of course these brothers are the owners of the Cleveland Browns and the Governor of Tennessee.

This decision caused the blogosphere to go crazy. This is a perfect example of turning information into knowledge. The court ruled correctly. Read the ruling, not the editorial reporting in the media. Ultimately we all want those who cause harm to be punished, not some faceless group. We all get made at the EPA for example, but the EPA didn’t do it, some real person did it.(1 comment)

There is a saying that the only constant in life is change. The US used to value innovation. We no longer lead the world in innovation. As our deep state got larger, the sheer inertia of moving large corporations into change has caused us to protect the old instead of looking for the new. China is embracing change and rewarding innovation. Government can create a culture of innovation often by just getting out of the way.

I’m stunned. A US General who actually speaks with reason. “He said that if the U.S. were to withdrawal without first finding Iran in material breach of the deal, allies would likely question other American treaty obligations. And North Korea, for its part, would have little incentive to enter into talks over its own nuclear program if Washington were to tear up an agreement that, by all accounts, Iran is adhering to.”
